Nathaniel Chalobah
One of Chelsea’s brightest up-and-coming talents, Chalobah worked with Rodgers in the Chelsea academy set-up which saw the Celtic boss work under Jose Mourinho among other managers between 2004 and 2008.
Chalobah is way down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, behind the likes of N’Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas and managed only one Premier League start last season under Antonio Conte.
Now, with only 12 months remaining on his current deal in west London, the 22-year-old could be allowed to leave on the cheap as Chelsea look to avoid losing him on a free.
