Real Madrid boss Zinezine Zidane has told the club president Florentino Perez to secure the signing of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard this summer, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish newspaper claims that the Frenchman has urged Real to sign the 26-year-old Belgian if Cristiano Ronaldo follows through on his bombshell threat to quit in the current window.

The Portugese all-time great has reportedly told the La Liga giants that he wants to leave the club this summer after being accused of tax evasion by the Spanish authorities.

Zidane has also reportedly informed Perez that he wants to sign AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe and Bayern Munich full-back David Alaba.

Since becoming the Real Madrid manager in 2016, Zidane has experienced huge success as he led the club to their first league title in five years last season.

Madrid also became the first club in the Champions League era to win back-to-back trophies under the guidance of the Frenchman.

Signing Eden Hazard will not be a simple task as the Belgian recently told the club’s official website that he intends to keep winning major trophies at Stamford Bridge next season.

The Belgian was sensational for the Blues last season, scoring 17 goals and seven assists in all competitions.

His contribution helped Chelsea achieve a second Premier League title in just three seasons.

Hazard’s current contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer of 2020.
