West Ham have made a £4million bid for Tigres ace Jurgen Damm, according to a Univision report.

The Mexican media outlet claim Hammers manager Slaven Bilic wants to sign the 24-year-old right-winger to bolster his squad ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

Damm currently plies his trade in Mexico with Tigres, and he was a mainstay for the club last season as they reached the final of the CONCACAF Champions League.

The Mexican wide-man played 34 league and cup games throughout the 2016/17 campaign, and he scored five goals from the wing.

He joined Tigres from Pachuca in the summer of 2015 for £7.5million, and has since made 87 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Over the course of his two season stint with the Mexican giants he has struggled to hit top form, and has only scored nine goals and supplied 12 assists.

Damm is renowned for his pace in his homeland, and a Sun report claims he is able to reach 35.23 kmph running with the ball, which they say makes him one of the quickest players in the world, second only to Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.

The 24-year-old has been capped by Mexico on six occasions, and has scored once in a 2-0 win in a World Cup qualifier against Honduras in November 2015.
