Three reasons why West Ham should hijack Aboubakar deal from Newcastle

West Ham United must take a gamble and hijack the potential move that could see Porto striker Vincent Aboubakar move to Newcastle United this summer.

The Daily Express recently reported that the newly-promoted Premier League side were closing in on a deal with the Portuguese club to secure the signature of the 25-year-old striker.

The Hammers need to move quickly and try and persuade the Cameroonian to play his football at the London Stadium next season.

The forward was in fine form during his loan spell at Turkish club Besiktas last season as his contribution helped the side win the league title for the second season in a row.

Aboubakar is currently away on international duty with the national team competing in the Confederations Cup.
