Tottenham fans have laughed off reports about Manchester United offering a £100 million bid for Harry Kane.
A report in The Mirror on Sunday claimed that United boss Jose Mourinho wants the hierarchy at Old Trafford to make a massive bid for the Spurs sensation.
The newspaper revealed that the Portuguese manager would prefer the club to swoop on the 23-year-old striker rather than attempt to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.
Tottenham supporters took to Twitter to express their opinions on the report, with some fans responding simply with crying laughing emojis and others jokingly posted a video claiming that the story is “blasphemous”.

Fans are unsurprisingly amused by the claim that United could swoop on the Golden Boot winner as he had yet another incredible season with the north London club, where the 23-year-old scored a staggering 35 goals during his 38 appearances.
Laughter appeared to be the main response from supporters as it seems highly unlikely Spurs would allow their most valuable player to leave the squad.
Tottenham had a hugely successful 2016/17 campaign and Mauricio Pochettino’s side fought a tough race for the Premier League title, and next season the club will need Kane’s goal-scoring ability even more as they compete in the Champions League.
