The official Werder Bremen Twitter account have reacted humorously to the sighting of a small sand tornado on their pitch, likening it to a hurricane, bringing the pun towards Tottenham star Harry Kane.

The 23-year-old Spurs goal machine has received the nickname “Hurrikane” during his so far short football career due to the likeness in name.

This led to the official Werder Bremen Twitter account adding some humour in relation to the Spurs star on Tuesday afternoon, as they wrote “Harry Kane to Werder confirmed?” with a wink emoji alongside a video of the sand tornado on their pitch.

Tottenham fans also found humour in the social media message with many keen to point out that it was in fact his brother in relation to it being a tornado.

Tottenham fans will however be hoping this is the closest that a rival club gets to Tweeting “confirmed” alongside their club’s talisman’s name this summer.

The Spurs youth graduate bagged an incredible 29 goals from 30 Premier League appearances last season and while his goal record will continue to attract some of Europe’s biggest clubs he is still contracted to the north London side until 2022.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team will also be hoping to remain unscathed over the next window as they aim to bring home their first ever Premier League title.
