Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic has agreed terms with Manchester United but the fee is still an issue, according to a report in Calciomercato.

The Italian media outlet claim that the Croatian is ready to make the move to Premier League football and only has United on his mind.

Calciomercato report that Perisic has already agreed personal terms with Reds boss Jose Mourinho, and that the United manager has offered the attacking midfielder double his current Inter Milan wages.

It is said that Mourinho is keen to sign the Croatian international and has offered him a contract worth over £100,000-a-week to tempt him to Old Trafford.

However, the Serie A club are reportedly refusing to accept less than £44 million for the winger, which is nearly £10 million more than United’s current bid of £35million.

It was reported by Calciomercato that Inter Milan had accepted an improved offer of £45million from United, but it now looks like the Reds could be holding firm.

They’re aware that the Italian side need to balance their books for fair play, with at least £26 million needed to settle the books, and that could mean they’re more likely to make a deal later in the summer.

The Croatian international impressed last season when he netted 11 goals and provided the same in assists across 36 Serie A appearances.
