Manchester City fans have expressed their delight at goalkeeper Claudio Bravo’s incredible performance during Chile’s Confederation Cup semi-final game against Portugal.
The 34-year-old keeper was hailed as a hero after the Chilean saved three penalties in the shoot-out following an initial 0-0 draw on Wednesday night.
The Chile skipper blocked penalties from Ricardo Quaresma, Joao Moutinho and Nani which ultimately led the South American club storming through to the Confederation Cup final on Sunday.
Man City fans watched Bravo’s performance in disbelief, and many supporters reacted with humour and sarcasm because they were so shocked at his performance.

Pep Guardiola will have also been impressed by Bravo’s stunning penalty saves which could see the 34-year-old have more of a chance at snatching the number one jersey next season.
Former leading goalkeeper Willy Caballero’s time at the Etihad has come to an end and with the arrival of Benfica’s Ederson, who was made the most expensive keeper in the world after costing £35 million, it looks as though Bravo will have to step up his game in order to be Guardiola’s top-choice.
The 112-time capped Chile international joined the Premier League club last summer from Barcelona on a four-year deal for a fee of over £15 million, and the keeper has another 3 more seasons with City.
