Christiansen would give himself best chance
Taking over from Garry Monk, former APOEL Nicosia manager Christiansen will be desperate to go down in folklore as the man to finally end Leeds’ stay outside the Premier League.
To have the best chance of doing just that, Christiansen needs money to spend in order to bring his own players to Elland Road this summer.
If he can mould the Leeds squad to the way he wants to play football this summer, the former Champions League side could gain promotion under Christiansen and offloading Wood for £15million would help him do that.
