Monk revenge
Monk joined Middlesbrough as manager on Friday before being officially unveiled on Monday as the Teesside outfit’s manager, after talks broke down between the former Leeds boss and Radrizzani.
The Yorkshire giants could exact revenge on the former Swansea boss after his decision to resign, by pipping Boro to the signing of McGeady and leaving Monk to go to plan B in his transfer plans.
It would also see two of Leeds rivals miss out on the signing of McGeady, who has the ability cause any team problems in England’s second tier.
