Everton have been given a boost in their bid to sign QPR teenage sensation Josh Bowler as the club prepare to grant him an exit,  according to West London Sport.

The website claims that the Championship side will be prepared to sell the winger, 18, if he is unwilling to sign a new deal.

West London Sport claim Everton have tabled two bids for Bowler, with the second amounting to more than £3million, and there is a “strong chance” he will move this summer.

Ronald Koeman’s side have received a major boost in their pursuit of the wing wizard, knowing that he can become available if he fails to put pen-to-paper on the imminent deal to be offered by QPR.

The 18-year-old, who can operate on the right-wing, signed a new contract with the R’s in February, which will keep him at the club until June 2018.

The report details how Premier League side Everton have already have had an offer rejected for Bowler, who could significantly earn more in wages at Goodison Park than at Loftus Road if he were to make the switch.

Bowler has only made one senior appearance for QPR when manager Ian Holloway brought him on as a late substitute during the 4-0 defeat against Norwich in May.

If the highly-rated youngster were to make a move to Merseyside then he will join a team that recently concluded the Premier League campaign by finishing seventh in the table.
