Arsenal could sign Barcelona forward Rafinha in a potential swap deal that would see Hector Bellerin depart the club this summer, according to Marca.

The Spanish newspaper claims the 24-year-old wants to leave the La Liga giants in order to become a first-team regular next season and boost his chances of being selected for the Brazil national squad for the 2018 World cup in Russia.

The report claims that the Brazilian believes that the Gunners are the perfect side for him to fulfil his full potential as they have a very similar playing style to Barcelona.

Marca also reports that the North London club believe the forward would be a great addition to the current squad as he is someone who can play in various positions.

Rafinha is reportedly valued around £26million but Barcelona are willing to negotiate the price as long as Arsenal full-back Bellerin is involved in a deal to move to the Camp Nou this summer.

This story follows up from the report in Catalonia based publication Sport who claimed that Bellerin is edging closer to a move to the La Liga giants as he has recently purchased a new house in Barcelona.

The Brazilian forward made 28 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona last season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.

Rafinha’s current contract at the Camp Nou expires in the summer of 2020.
