Chelsea fans have expressed concern over the club’s opening seven games of the 2017/18 Premier League, as they set out to retain their title.
The Premier League fixtures were released on Wednesday morning, and Chelsea fans have had a mixed response on Twitter as they face some of the biggest teams in the competition.
Within the first seven matches Chelsea face a tough spell including games against Tottenham, Everton, Arsenal, and Manchester City.
The fans do, however, appear happy with their opening game against Burnley as the Blues faced the Lancashire club on the opening weekend of the 2014/15 season when they also won the PL.

Horrible start (especially with no Hazard and a likely disappointing summer window) but the run in is extremely kind.

Tough start for us without Hazard. United always get an easy start so no change there.

Many of the Chelsea fans expressed trepidation at early games against Spurs and Everton without their star winger, Eden Hazard.
The Belgian looks likely to sit out the majority of Chelsea’s early fixtures after he fractured his ankle while training with his international team last week, which will see the 26-year-old out for a possible three months.
Hazard provided a strong contribution to the London club’s Premier League title win last season, scoring 16 goals in 36 appearances, and he will be missed as they begin their 2017/18 campaign.
