Tottenham have agreed a fee with Turkish club Basaksehir for Cengiz Under, according to Ajansspor.

The Turkish news outlet claims that Spurs have agreed an initial fee worth £7.8million for the 19-year-old, who has enjoyed a brilliant debut season at the Istanbul-based outfit as they finished a surprising second place in the Super Lig.

Sky Sports’ transfer blog at 3:47PM on Monday says that Under is known as the ‘Turkish Dybala’ for his similarities with Juventus ace Pablo Dybala.

It is understood that talks between Spurs and the Turkish runners-up are set to reach a conclusion after a the £7.8million fee was agreed.

Ajansspor claims that Under is contracted at Basaksehir until 2021 after arriving there from Altinordu last summer for £610,000.

Under, who earned his first international cap for Turkey in November, made 41 appearances for his side across all competitions this season.

He scored nine goals and supplied seven assists as he also took part in Basaksehir’s Europa League qualifying campaign which ultimately saw them knocked out by Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.

The two-times Turkey international can play on both wings and is known for his rapid pace and ability to get among the goals.

Under made a total of 58 appearances for his former side Altinordu, netted 11 goals and supplying nine assists.
