West Ham fans on Twitter urged the club to sign Southampton attacker Dusan Tadic after being installed favourites .
Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have priced the 28-year-old at 9/4 to make a switch to the London Stadium ahead of Newcastle who are priced as outsiders at 12/1.
The odds follow from Tadic publicly airing his frustrations on the south coast earlier in the campaign after repeatedly being brought off by manager Claude Puel during matches.
“It’s unbelievable that I was subbed again and we also lost,” told Tadic, as quoted by the Sun.
“You can see statistically that we concede or lose when I’ve been taken off. I don’t think this shows enough respect for me.”
Of course the Hammers also brought in then Southampton captain Jose Fonte in January, showing that the east London club can attract the Saints’ stars.
Now, West Ham fans themselves have stated they would be happy to see Tadic join the club ranks this summer with many believing him to be a quality addition addition on social media.
A number stated that he is better than what the club currently has, while others brought up that the club lacks the creativity that Tadic would bring.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Where did this come from?! Tadic is mustard though. Would love him at West Ham (cash plus Snodgrass)

Takes some of the creative burden off of Lanzini. Would prefer Barkley (v.unlilely ik) but Tadic would be decent addition

Tadic has been plying his trade in England since completing a £10.9million deal to Southampton in the summer of 2014 from Dutch side Twente.
He has managed a return of 17 goals and 31 assists in 121 appearances for the Saints and would certainly add some further experience to Slaven Bilic’s team.
