Kieran Trippier has revealed that his Tottenham teammate Harry Kane always stays behind after training session to improve his shooting.

Kane has become a crucial player for Spurs since his graduation from their academy and his hard work in front of goal has certainly paid off.

The 23-year-old has become one of the most clinical strikers in the Premier League and helped his side finish second this season behind champions Chelsea.

He scored an impressive 35 goals in just 38 appearances across all competitions, showing that he is developing each year.

The England international has now won two consecutive Premier League golden boot’s and scored 20-plus league goals in the last three seasons.

Trippier has raved about the hard work of Kane and believes that he fully deserves his reward on the pitch.

“When I first came to the club I knew what he was all about and it’s well deserved when you look at how hard he works at the training ground,” Trippier said, as quoted by the club’s official website. “After training as well he stays behind, doing shooting practice all the time.”

Kane had to be patient with loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester as a youngster during his development.

However, he is now the talisman in the Spurs first team and the club’s supporters adore him.

The striker managed to hit 30-plus goals this season despite facing spells on the sideline with injury and is being tipped to challenge Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League record of 260 goals.
