Tottenham are reportedly favourites to sign Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon – and fans on Twitter are delighted.
The Times claimed that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have emerged as front runners for Sessegnon’s signature because he is now eligible for a professional contract having turned 17 in May.
He is yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal with Fulham, who were knocked out of the semi-final stages of the play-offs this season.
Sessegnon is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in English football and he is known for his bursting runs down the left-wing.
There were a number of fans who were ecstatic that they could be signing the teenager this summer as they also wanted to add other highly-rated prospects to their ranks.
The likes of Monaco winger Thomas Lemar and Hull City defender Harry Maguire were mentioned, with one fan hoping his club can pull off the deals.

dunno why he's trending but I'm hearing we're negotiating personal terms for him. He's a good back up but can pay LM too

Just seen a vid he looks decent. Not only he can play as a LB but he can play as a winger.

Over the course of the season, Sessegnon played 31 matches in all competitions for his side, scoring seven goals and supplying five assists.
The England under-19 international put in a number of highly impressive performance this season, including scoring and assisting when his team knocked then-Premier League side Hull out of the FA Cup.
However, his standout display came against Newcastle at St James’ Park in March when he netted a brace against the Championship winners.
