Liverpool are the favourites to sign Leicester City attacker Demarai Gray, according to the latest betting odds.
Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have priced the 20-year-old at 9/4 to make a switch to Anfield before September 3, with Everton (10/1) and Tottenham (12/1) also in the running for his signature.
This comes after the Telegraph recently reported that both Spurs and the Toffees are potential suitors for the highly-rated winger who has become “frustrated” at his lack of game time at the King Power Stadium.
Despite the interest from the Premier League duo, it is Liverpool who stand as firm favourites to sign Gray, with their top four finish likely to give them a boost ahead of their Merseyside rivals.
Jurgen Klopp’s side beat already-relegated Middlesbrough on the last day of the season to secure their top-four finish ahead of Arsenal, who have since gone on to win the FA Cup.
The Reds will still need to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League and have to win a two-legged qualifier at the start of next season to book their place in Europe’s biggest club competition.
Gray, who won the Premier League title with the Foxes last term, has three-year left on his current deal at the King Power Stadium.
