Stan Collymore believes the only “concerns” Tottenham should have about Arsenal is losing their own players and manager.

The former Liverpool striker believes nothing from outside of Islington can “seriously harm” Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the next two seasons.

Spurs recently concluded the Premier League campaign by finishing as runners-up to champions Chelsea added with the fact that they finished above the Gunners for the first time since 1995.

Arsene Wenger’s team endured a miserable season by failing to secure a top-four finish for the first time during the Frenchman’s 21-year tenure.

Broadcaster Collymore thinks Spurs will continue to have the advantage over their north London rivals, who recently lifted the FA Cup.

“The only concerns Spurs should have about the neighbours is in-house,” Collymore told Boyle Sports. “Namely losing players and the manager. Nothing externally from Islington can seriously harm them in the next two seasons.”

Tottenham will play their home matches at Wembley next season with the plan of moving into their new stadium for the 2018/19 campaign.

Pochettino’s side finished the season at White Hart Lane unbeaten in all competitions, including beating the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United in front of their own supporters.

Arsenal moved to the Emirates from Highbury in 2006, but Wenger has come under increasing pressure in recent years for not winning the league title since 2004.

Added with that, he has suffered a number of heavy defeats in Europe, including losing 10-2 on aggregate to Bayern Munich in this season’s Champions League.

As a result, supporters have protested and urged him to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.
