European giants Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a move to sign Tottenham full-back Danny Rose this summer, according to The Sun.

The newspaper have been told that the French outfit are set to ‘revive their interest’ in the defender, who caught the eye of a number of Europe’s elite sides with his performances last term.

Rose, 26, was a first-choice starter for Tottenham up until his injury, making 21 appearances in all competitions before his season was cut short with a knee injury that has sidelined him since January.

He has undergo knee surgery and is a doubt to start next season.

But the Sun report that PSG have been “running the rule” over Rose throughout the season, are ready to make a move.

The newspaper also states that head coach Unai Emery has been left “hugely impressed” with the England international, after receiving positive reports from the club scouts.

Emery is on the look-out for a long-term replacement for veteran left-back Maxwell, with the Brazilian set to turn 36 at the start of next season.

Youngster Presnel Kimpembe, meanwhile, only broke into the first-team setup at Parc des Princes a year ago, and still has a lot to learn, leaving PSG considering an approach for Rose.

The Tottenham defender only put pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal at the club in September, but could be temped by the lure of a more lucrative deal at one of their European rivals.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also keen on signing Rose this summer, and the Sun report he will command a fee worth £40million.

Tottenham senior duo Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino have little intention on letting their star performers leave this summer after another promising campaign, where they finished second in the Premier League.

They have also secured Champions League football for the second successive campaign, and letting Rose join a potential opponent would not be in their best intentions.
