Stan Collymore has revealed that he loves watching Tottenham duo Mousa Dembele and Dele Alli in the Premier League.

The two midfielders have played an important role in Spurs’ success this season and are ever-presents in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Dembele, 29, is a powerful box-to-box midfielder that has become a crucial figure in the centre of the park.

Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Alli is enjoying his best season to date and has beeN in great touch in front of goal.

The 21-year-old has made 48 appearances across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and supplying 11 assists in return.

Collymore has admitted that he enjoys seeing the Spurs duo in action and claims they are his favourite players to watch in the premier League.

He explained that they have now overtaken Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta in his thinking, but was full of praise for the Argentinian that will be leaving the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

“I’ve loved watching him (Zabaleta) at the Etihad and, as regular readers will know, for a time he was my favourite top-flight player,” Collymore wrote in the Mirror. “Mousa Dembele then Dele Alli might have replaced him in my affections but I’m still not sure there has been a more perfect foreign import.”

Mauricio Pochettino has managed to build an exciting side at Spurs and they have finished second in the Premier League table this season.

The north London club have several exciting players at their disposal and Collymore has recognised that.

Dembele is a well-rounded midfield option that has become a big favourite with supporters.

The Belgium international has been with Spurs since 2012 and has formed a great partnership this year alongside Victor Wanyama in central midfield.

Their solid base has allowed Spurs’ creative players to flourish and the highly rated youngster is a main beneficiary from this.
