Celtic have identified Chelsea’s Dominic Solanke and Real Madrid youngster Dani Gomez as potential replacements for Moussa Dembele, according to a report.

The Sun claim that the Bhoys are prepared to sell star striker Dembele to a Premier League side in the summer and could cash in on the £20million-rated ace.

It is understood that Manchester United and Chelsea are most interested in the 20-year-old, who has been tearing up Scottish football this season.

The report details that Celtic have already begun lining up their replacement and Chelsea forward Solanke is the favourite to replace Dembele, with the 19-year-old out of contract in the summer and unlikely to get a first team role at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers’ side are also tracking Real Madrid B attacker Gomez and the 18-year-old would cost £3million.

Dembele will be a huge miss for the Scottish champions next season, but the talented Frenchman looks destined to play at the top of European football.

He has been sensational this campaign and struck 32 goals in just 49 appearances across all competitions.

However, Celtic are preparing for life without him and want Chelsea’s academy graduate to replace him.

Solanke has been playing in the Blues’ Under-23s side this year and has been unable to get a first team look in, but has shown his talents out on loan in the past.

The England Under-19 international spent last season at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem and scored seven goals in 27 appearances.

Real Madrid B star Gomez is another potential target and he is recognised for his pace.

Celtic could be set for a £20million windfall from Dembele’s departure and a £3million swoop for Gomez could turn out to be a strong deal.
