Everton are confident of landing Michael Keane.
According to a report in The Mirror the Burnley defender is likely to head to Goodison Park in the summer despite interest from elsewhere.
Keane has been in outstanding form for Burnley this season, stepping up with ease from last season’s promotion from the Championship to shine in the top flight.
Burnley signed the defender from Manchester United in 2014 for just £2.5m with the Old Trafford side inserting a 25% sell on clause.
There has been some talk of a return to United as well as interest from Liverpool and Manchester City but none of those clubs are prepared to guarantee the 24-year-old that he will go straight into the top team.
Keane has worked his way into the England side this season and is determined to continue that progress in World Cup season with Ronald Koeman planning to use the Burnley man as his key defender.
