Mesut Ozil is strongly tipped to join Manchester United in the summer.
According to a report in The Sun the Arsenal man has been backed down to just 6/4 to start next season at Old Trafford.
Ozil is out of contract in the summer with little sign of progress towards getting the sort of contract that he feels he deserves while Arsenal fans have become increasingly critical of his performances and questioning his commitment.
The German isn’t short of admirers with his former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho believed to be strongly interested in the midfielder.
Arsene Wenger has stated that he’d rather lose Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer at the end of next season rather than sell to a direct competitor but hasn’t issued a similar comment about Ozil.
Arsenal signed the German from Real Madrid for £45m in 2013 but wouldn’t be able to recoup that figure with just 12 months left on his contract.
