Arsenal are looking to sign up Emil Forsberg in a £25m summer bid.

According to a report in Metro the RB Leipzig midfielder has been identified as a potential replacement for Mesut Ozil.

Forsberg has been a big part of RB Leipzig’s success this season as they look set to claim a Champions League place straight after winning promotion to the Bundesliga.

Arsene Wenger is a big fan of the German transfer market and has received glowing reports on the way that Forsberg has dominated in games.

With eight goals and 15 assists from 25 Bundesliga appearances his stats are more favourable than those of a number of Arsenal regulars.

Forsberg is under contract to RB Leipzig for a further five years but with this seasons success and interest from elsewhere a number of deals will have to be renegotiated with Arsenal ready to spend big to sign the 25-year-old Swedish internationalist.
