Liverpool are ready to make an end of season bid for Andy Robertson.

According to a report in the Daily Mail the Hull City defender has been identified to fill the problem left back slot.

Robertson has been in consistent form this season as Hull try to pull off a miracle by escaping relegation after looking dead and buried at Christmas time.

Jurgen Klopp has been looking for a dependable left-back for some time with James Milner fitting in most of this season.

The Scotland internationalist is under contract until next summer with Hull imposing a further 12 months option onto his deal just before the end of last year.

Robertson has enjoyed an incredible rise to the top from Scottish amateur side Queens Park to Hull City via Dundee United in less than 18 months.

With a fee of £8m being quoted Liverpool can bring in a ready made player at less than half the fee they’d expect to pay from the French or German leagues.
