Toni Kroos could be on his way to Manchester United in the summer- if Real Madrid end the season trophy-less.
According to a report in the Daily Star the midfielder has become concerned by Real’s form slump and would be open to the idea of moving to Old Trafford.
Kroos has been a long term target for United with Davie Moyes believing that he had a deal tied up in 2013.
Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the German midfielder who is in his third season at Real and a regular in Zinedine Zidane’s side.
United are expected to be among the biggest spenders in the summer with Mourinho concentrating on the top end of the market.
Bringing in a big name striker is one priority but Mourinho would jump at the chance to add Kroos to his side.
At 27-years-of-age with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich on his CV there’s no doubt that Kroos is exactly the type of signing that would make an instant impact at Old Trafford.
