Everton are preparing an end of season bid for Harry Maguire.

According to a report in The Mirror the Hull defender has caught the attention of Ronald Koeman who will reshape the Everton defence in the summer.

Despite Hull struggling against relegation Maguire has made a big impression including a recent stalemate with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Everton are favourites to sign Michael Keane from Burnley with the acquisition of Maguire providing a brand new central defence.

Hull signed Maguire for £2.5m from Sheffield United in 2014 with the 24-year-old playing a major role in last season’s promotion success despite spending part of the 14/15 season on loan at Wigan Athletic.

Maguire has another year left on his contract but with Everton and Southampton interested it seems certain that Hull will sell in the summer rather than let the defender run down the final year of his deal in The Championship.
