Chelsea are preparing an end of season move for Andrea Belotti.

According to a report in The Sun the Torino striker was watched scoring twice against Fiorentina on Monday night by Chelsea spies.

Those goals took Belotti’s total for the season to 19 and onto the radar of Antonio Conte.

The Chelsea boss has an extensive network of scouts across Italy and follows Serie A closely from his London base.

With a massive question mark over the future of Diego Costa, Conte is looking ahead to next season and planning to bring in additional strikers.

Celtic’s Moussa Dembele and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku are both under consideration with Conte expected to take a personal look at Belotti in the next couple of weeks.

Before Christmas Torino extended Belotti’s contract until 2021 with interest increasing after the 23-year-old started his international career with three goals in five appearances.

It’s been reported that the new contract has a €100 million buy out clause.
