Spurs look like revisiting their interest in Anthony Martial in the summer.

According to a report in The Mirror, Spurs are watching events closely at Old Trafford where the relationship between the winger and Jose Maurinho is strained.

Spurs were interested in signing Martial from Monaco in the summer of 2015 but opted out as the price escalated to £38m with various performance related bonuses added on.

Martial made a big impact at United last season under Louis van Gaal but has been in and out of Mourinho’s side with reports of unease between the two men.

Bringing the 21-year-old to White Hart Lane would be a big boost for Spurs and allow United to be realased from the additional clauses on the contract.

Spurs have been linked with Wilfried Zaha during the last two transfer windows but would drop their interest in the Crystal Palace man if they are given the opportunity to sign Martial.
