Marcus Rashford is stalling on signing a new Manchester United contract.

According to a report in The Times the 19-year-old is increasingly concerned about his lack of game time this season.

Rashford signed a new four year contract last April shortly after making a dramatic breakthrough into the first team with talks about another deal starting earlier this season.

With his current deal running until 2020 there is no worries on United’s part about losing the player but his hesitancy about signing another new deal will be causing concern over his development.

During the January transfer window a number of clubs made enquiries about taking the forward out on loan but Mourinho ruled that out for everyone in his first team squad due to their heavy fixture commitments.

With further big signings planned in the summer Rashford’s lack of playing time is likely to become an increasing probem for the club to manager.
