Everton are watching Elias Kachunga and considering a summer bid for the forward.

According to a report in The Mirror the Huddersfield striker is also being watched by Watford and Middlesbrough.

Kachunga is on loan at Huddersfield from German side Ingolstadt and has notched 10 goals as the Yorkshire side move into contention for a play-off place.

Ronald Koeman is keen to bring in new striking options and also to prepare for the possible sale of Romelu Lukaku.

Kachunga plays mainly in the wide areas but likes to get inside with his goal return catching the eye.

Koeman has been given the budget of a top six club but struggled to bring in players of that calibre.

By scouting in slightly different areas the Everton boss is likely to be more successful bringing in hungry players keen to develop towards the top level.

Ingolstadt are certain to cash in on Kachunga in the summer after his season in the shop window of the English Championship.
