Cesc Fabregas is a shock transfer target for Real Madrid despite two spells with Barcelona.
According to a report in The Sun Zinedine Zidane is keen to bring in a midfielder with ‘Barca DNA’.
Fabregas has been on the fringes of the Chelsea side this season and has distanced himself from interest in China.
The 29-year-old quit Barca as a teenager for Arsenal but returned to the Nou Camp in 2011 in a £30m transfer deal.
That ‘dream move’ turned sour with the midfielder returning to London to join Chelsea for the same fee three years later.
Arsenal felt that Fabregas would return to The Emirates after his stint at Barca but having rejected Arsene Wenger the midfielder may have another massive decision to make over moving to Real Madrid and returning to the Nou Camp in a white shirt!
Fabregas has started five Premier League matches this season and also made ten substitute appearances.
