Chelsea transfer target Leonardo Bonucci has fallen out with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.
According to a report on Metro the defender had a massive row with Allegri following the weekend win over Palermo and was left out of the Juve squad to face Porto in the Champions League.
Conte worked with Bonucci in the Juve side and has enormous respect for the 29-year-old as a defender and also for his leadership qualities.
Despite Chelsea’s march towards the title Cone wants to put his own stamp on the side during the summer- particularly in defence where he wants to play a flexible back three.
Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk is at the top of Conte’s wanted list but that could change if the row between Bonucci and Juve escalates.
Juventus will be keen to resolve the issue but with two strong characters at odds with each other it could be that there is no way back for the defender who is in his seventh season at the club.
