AC Milan are planning a summer bid for Alexis Sanchez.
According to a report in The Express the Italian giants are preparing a massive bid to take the Chilean striker back to Serie A.
Sanchez earned his big move to Barcelona on the back of three seasons with Udinese and would have no problem adapting to Italian football.
Arsenal want to hold on to the striker but want to stick to a pay structure that would max out at £200,000/week.
Sanchez and his representatives know that they could get much more than that elsewhere with Paris St Germain, Juventus and various Chinese clubs happy to offer more.
AC Milan have recently been taken over by a Chinese consortium that are determined to restore the club to the peak of the Champions League.
Signing Sanchez would be a massive declaration for the new era at the San Siro with Arsenal likely to be forced into a summer sale if there is no breakthrough in contract talks.
