Michael Ballack has urged Mesut Ozil to join Bayern Munich to make additions to his medal collection.
According to a report in The Sun the German legend and former Chelsea midfielder believes that the Arsenal man can achieve his playing ambitions by moving to the Bundesliga.
Ozil has sixteen months to go on his current contract with no sign of a breakthrough in contract talks- according to the player he won’t make a decision until he knows if Arsene Wenger will be staying on at The Emirates.
As well as meeting the players cash demands it’s believed that Ozil is concerned with the lack of success he has had at Arsenal with just two FA Cup wins in three and a half years.
Moving to Bayern would almost certainly bring in domestic success with the club also regularly involved in the closing stages of the Champions League- another area that Arsenal have missed out on since Ozil joined from Real Madrid.
