Abel Hernandez is a summer transfer target for West Brom and Everton.

According to a report in the Birmingham Mail the agent for the Hull striker has named the two clubs that came closest to signing the Hull striker during the January transfer window.

Hernandez has only managed four goals this season but that has largely been down to Hull’s struggles since promotion.

After selling Robert Snodgrass and Jake Livermore the club came under fire from fans dismayed at the apparent lack of fight in the relegation battle.

Offers for Hernandez and Andy Robertson were rejected but will be revisited in the summer if Hull are relegated with West Brom and Everton at the front of the queue for the striker from Uruguay.

Everton’s need for a striker could be accelerated if Chelsea follow up their interest in Romelu Lukaku which is dependent on Diego Costa moving to China in a multi-million pound deal.
