Arsenal will challenge Liverpool for the signing of Joe Hart.

According to a report in The Sun, the Gunners will enter the bidding at the end of the season when Hart returns from a season long loan deal with Torino.

Arsenal signed Petr Cech from Chelsea in a £10m deal in the summer of 2015 and while the Czech Republic number one has performed well Arsenal don’t want to miss out on the chance to sign the current England keeper.

At 29 Hart is five years younger than Cech with City believed to be looking for £15m for the keeper who still has two years to run on his lucrative contract.

Despite his England status Hart was quickly dismissed by Pep Guardiola who placed his faith in Claudio Bravo. Despite the Chilean keeper’s problems Guardiola has refused to consider a u-turn over Hart.

Liverpool have been considered as the long term favourites to sign Hart and won;t welcome news of Arsenal entering the race for the England keeper.
