Jack Wilshere could be a summer target for Pep Guardiola.
According to a report in the Daily Mail Barcelona legend Xavi believes that the midfielder is ideally suited to the type of game that Guardiola is trying to implement at Manchester City.
Wilshere is currently enjoying a season on loan at Bournemouth after being told that he’d be unlikely to be a regular at Arsenal.
Injuries have dogged the midfielder in recent seasons but with 20 Premier League appearances so far the on loan Arsenal man has proved his fitness.
Wilshere first came to the attention of Guardiola when he impressed as a 19-year-old against Barca in the 2011 Champions League.
With just over a year to go on his Arsenal contract some big decisions will have to be made in the summer, having enjoyed life and regular football away from The Emirates a permanent move is more likely for the England midfielder.
