Jagielka in demand

|

Phil Jagielka is wanted by West Ham and Sunderland.

According to a report in The Daily Mail the 34-year-old is discussing his Everton future aware that there is interest from at least two Premier League clubs.

Jagielka is one of the Everton regulars that Ronald Koeman is questioning with rumours that James McCarthy and Ross Barkley could join Tom Cleverley on the way out at Goodison Park.

Koeman is looking for players in every area of the park, at the age of 34 Jagielka doesn’t want to end up on the sidelines.

David Moyes took the defender to Everton from Sheffield United in 2007 and would love to take him to Sunderland to help in their fight against relegation.

West Ham are looking to beef up their defence with Slaven Bilic in the market for tried and tested players that know their way around the Premier League.

Jagielka has started 14 of Everton’s Premier League matches this season.
