Manchester City defender Pablo Mari is on the wanted list of Premier League and Championship clubs.
According to a report in The Mail the 23-year-old defender is making a big impact on Spanish Second Division side Girona,
Mari signed for City during the summer from Gimnastic with a view to coming into the loan programme and working his way into Pep Guardiola’s plans.
After overcoming a minor injury Mari has helped Girona to four successive victories which have lifted his side into second place in the table within touching distance of leaders Levante.
City won’t recall the 23-year-old from his loan spell but will be looking carefully at his options for next season.
A move to a lower Premier League club is most likely to give him experience of English football and to see how he fares against Premier League strikers.
Mari has gone on record with his ambition to break through at City and is hoping to help Girona back into the top flight on Spanish football before returning to England.
