Galatasaray are set to offer Mamadou Sakho an Anfield escape.
According to TalkSPORT a Turkish news sorce has named the 26-year-old as the defender that Galatasaray are looking to sign in January.
Sakho hasn’t played a single game this season and is believed to be the only member of Jurgen Klopp’s first team squad that is available to move on next month.
West Brom are also believed to be interested in Sakho but it’s thought that the player is keen to try his luck abroad after four seasons at Anfield.
Liverpool paid £18m to Paris St Germain in 2013 but will be happy to cut their losses by getting the defender off the wage bill if a new club can be found.
Galatasaray are currently sitting in third place in the Turkish Super Liga and believe that a change of environment will help Sakho rediscover his best form.
