Paris St Germain are planning a £40m bid for Philippe Coutinho.
According to a report in The Express the French side are ready to put in a bid next month to fend off interest from Barcelona ans Bayern Munich.
Coutinho is only 18 months into a five year contract but with top quality admirers Liverpool are putting together another new deal which would pay the Brazilian around £150,000/week.
The 24-year-old is in no rush to leave Liverpool but would be interested in a big money deal to one of the Champions League elite teams.
Since losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United PSG have adopted a more aggressive attitude to the transfer market with Adam Lallana also in their sights.
Jurgen Klopp is aware of the interest in Coutinho but is determined to hold on to the Brazilian and bring in the type of player that can ensure that Liverpool become Champions League regulars.
