Chelsea will bid for Joe Hart if they are forced to sell Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

According to a report in The Express Antonio Conte will put in a £20m bid to Manchester City if he is unable keep Courtois at Stamford Bridge.

Hart is currently on a season long loan to Torino and has come to terms with the fact that he has no future with City under Pep Guardiola.

Torino would love to make the current arrangement permanent but don’t have the funds to meet City’s £10m asking fee and pay the current terms of the England keeper.

If Hart moves to an English club City will look for a £20m transfer fee but Chelsea can expect to bring in more than double that figure if the Belgian internationalist moves to Spain.

Courtois is under contract with Chelsea until June 2019 but has dropped regular hints about a return to Spain after spending three seasons on loan to Atletico Madrid.
