Liverpool are planning a raid on Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace.

According to a report in the Liverpool Echo Jurgen Klopp is considering a January swoop for the Palace winger who had a brief and unhappy spell at Manchester United.

Zaha is believed to be unhappy with his current wages which are believed to be around one third of the money being paid out to Christian Benteke and Yohan Cabaye.

During the summer Spurs had an approach for Zaha turned down by Palace but the club failed to follow that up with an increased deal for the winger.

Despite his bizarre spell at Manchester United Zaha would jump at the chance to go to Liverpool and feels that his game is better suited to playing in a more successful and attacking team.

Zaha returned to Palace in February 2015 from Old Trafford for an undisclosed fee with United likely to be on a cut of any future sale of the 24-year-old.
