Adam Lallana is a £40m transfer target of Paris St Germain.

A report in The Sun claims that the French champs are preparing a bumper bid that would treble the wages of the England star.

Lallana is under contract until 2019 but that wouldn’t put off PSG who have never been afraid to put money on the table for the right player.

With Jurgen Klopp looking to build a title winning team any interest in the former Southampton man would be resisted.

There was talk earlier this season of Lallana getting offered a new contract with news of interest from PSG likely to accelerate that process.

As well as a massive wage rise PSG can offer the Englnd man guarenteed Champions League football.

Liverpool paid Southampton £25m for Lallana in 2014, after a difficult settling in period he is now showing his Saints form and scoring goals for Liverpool and England.
