Alan Pardew inisists that it’ll be business as usual at Crystal Palace after Sturday’s 5-4 shocker at Swansea.

The Palace boss is favourite to be the next Premier League boss to be sacked with the reverse at Swansea the sixth in a row for the London side.

Early last week reports emerged that Pardew had to win in Wales to retain his job but there was no knee jerk reaction from the Palace board to the defeat from Swansea.

With 89 minutes played it seemed certain that Palace would get the win their gaffer needed but two stoppage times goals won the points for Bob Bradley’s side.

Despite the nature of the defeat Pardew refused to contemplate anything other than a normal week ahead of Southampton’s visit to Selhurst Park.

“I have a good team and will be back in on Monday working towards Southampton,” the under fire boss claimed.

“The goals we’ve conceded don’t reflect well on us but I will reflect on this game and try and correct it for the next one.

“We’ve had six defeats and a couple of them – at Burnley and now at Swansea – we shouldn’t have had. That’s what has put us in this mess, and we need to get ourselves out of it.”

Yesterday’s defeat leaves Palace on 11 points alongside West Ham and Hull City and three points ahead of bottom placed Sunderland who lost 2-0 at Liverpool.
