Linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea prior to signing for the Saints for a club record £21 million back in late August, the former Lille man was naturally a signing that captured Southampton fans’ imaginations.
Looking to fill the shoes left by Sadio Mane following his £34 million switch to Liverpool in the summer, the early signs are that Boufal can live up to the billing.
