They were already reportedly keen on signing Cesc Fabregas in January and now, AC Milan are also interested in signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, report The Mirror.

With Diego Costa by far and away Antonio Conte’s first choice striker at Stamford Bridge right now, Batshuayi has had to be content with a bit-part role from the bench.

With the Italian giants looking to tempt the Belgian international away from Stamford Bridge with regular first team football, it’s true that the former Marseille man has only achieved 53 minutes of Premier League action so far this term.

Retaining Carlos Bacca in the summer of course, the Rossoneri have reportedly been keen on signing Tottenham’s Harry Kane but have now added Batshuayi to their striking wishlist.

You have to imagine that AC Milan would struggle in this pursuit however given the fact that outside Costa and Batshuayi, Chelsea don’t really have any other viable first team striking solutions.

Having already spoken about Batshuayi’s role in West London earlier in the summer, Antonio Conte mentioned: “He uses two feet. He is a great talent.

“Iam very happy that Batshuayi is with us and I know the club bought a great player for the present and the future.”
