He’s been linked with a Liverpool switch for quite a while now but the Reds won’t be going back in for Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic until next summer, report The Express.

The United States international has been billed the countries’ next great hope and was the subject of a failed £11 million bid from Liverpool in the recent transfer window.

Making his Champions League debut against Legia Warsaw in midweek, Pulisic is firmly among the first team picture for Thomas Tuchel’s Dortmund right now and it would appear no January bid is imminent from Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Bleacher Report also corroborate the fact that Liverpool haven’t abandoned their attempts to sign Pulisic entirely but realise he is likely to see the entire current campaign out in the Bundesliga.

Pulisic is only 17-years-old having made a breakthrough into Dortmund’s first team last season but despite his slender years, he’s already made eight appearances for Jurgen Klinsmann’s United States squad, scoring three times in the process.
